Today is the fifth class of Business, in which we learned how to explore the prediction of fashion. Fashion Trend Development and Directional shopping Inspiration are both important to the business approach. We also learned range planning, including fabric and product arrangement.
In class, we looked at fashion trends, which are grouped into three categories: FADS, Trends and Classics. From the current fashion trend, high fashion is tailored to the size of the individual customer; The most luxurious and experienced clothes. Mass fashion is when manufacturers copy new styles almost immediately to meet high demand; “Fake.” And classic: more or less accepted over a longer period of time; It is characterized by simple design and will not be easily outdated. The last thing about fashion is that it is a transient fashion that can come and go in a season; They lack the design power to hold consumers’ attention for long; It’s relatively easy and inexpensive to copy. The look of your product will reflect the brand and attract customers. Start researching your product direction. The research will highlight, inspire and translate brands and collaborations. Include: Start looking for product/styling ideas on runways, shopping pages, and brand websites. I can explore the color, fabric, details and style of the product to complete a Moodboard, which can explain my brand cooperation. Directional Shopping includes trips to get inspired for designs and concepts. According to the
Depending on a company’s travel budget and the type of items being purchased, you may look far, far away for future trends. I think my weakness is that when I do directional shopping, it needs to include A range of stores/ markets etc. And A variety of garments are viewed. I think I’m missing a lot of information when I’m doing this. I think if I could do more brand research, it would be very helpful to write this.
