Today’s class is about fashion media.Today’s assignment is about the artist’s shoe design that we did, and we need to turn it into a moving image.
First of all, we need to explore moving images in fashion media, we need to create an Instagram with the shoes we designed, either a GIF or a small short video. Try to use animation, sound, and make it more possible. I used a software to create a 7-second short video, first let my model put on my shoes, took some photos, and then took some videos of her jumping up and walking. And I put them together, and I used the flashbacks to make it look interesting. I used the steps of the school as the background, and the design of a low side and a high side makes it look more special. In the post-processing of the video, I added some mirrors to make it look more natural when the video is linked together. I also added a BGM to the background music processing to make the video look much richer.I think I learned a lot from this class, not only to make photos, but also to recommend your shoes to customers by taking videos after finishing the work, which is also very important.I think my advantage is that I have paid attention to take detailed pictures of shoes, including the front, side and bottom parts, and asked my classmates to help me try them on. I also took pictures of my classmate trying on the shoes, and her walking shoes and jumping shoes were very vivid to express their style.In my opinion, I still need to improve, that is, I should pay more attention to the video clips in the process of making shoes. The simple transition picture and BGM are too monotonous. I can also add filters to the shoes to make them look brighter.
Finally, I think I should pay more attention to the promotion of shoes. I can share your design with more people through video recording.And paying more attention to its editing, thinking more about its process such as animation, stickers, background and music, makes it more unique.
