First of all, today’s class is fashion Business and Management. Today’s class is mainly about trend prediction and the marketing mix.
The first part is trend forecasting, which is a field market centered on predicting the future. It can be things like predicting colors, styling combinations or fabric textures. We can learn about customers’ demand for products through these. And then we learned about WGSN. We can use this website to find interesting elements to complete our Moodboard.It is usually necessary to put six steps together on a forecast or moodboard.Secondly, I learned the Marketing Mix in class. Marketing mix is used to describe the various elements that make up your product strategy. We usually write the marketing mix by describing products, prices, places and promotions.
In this workshop, I think my advantage is to search for information about how to complete the marketing mix. I searched for the price, product, location and promotion of the brand through the official website. And put them all together, which I think is my strength. I can search these materials well and put them together.I think I need to improve the task of Moodboard. To do moodboard, I need to develop theme and Atmosphere a collection will take. I was obviously not good at this part, and it was difficult for me to determine its theme and goal. I need to work harder to find its theme. In addition, I devoted myself to the collection by researching pictures, materials, texts and forms.
So far, I have learned how to position a brand, the customer audience, the theme of the brand, the price of the product and other aspects in business. We need to do a complete survey to know more about customers’ needs.In future workshops, I want to further understand customers’ needs and brand positioning. I want to learn more ways to establish contact with brands and learn about other brands in more aspects.
